National Opposite Day

This quirky holiday is celebrated on 25th January. Its origins lie with a childhood game where children declare that it's Opposite Day and have to say the exact opposite of what they mean. Some kids who take the game very seriously also do the opposite of what they're told to do from household chores to homework.

It can be a fun game until it escalates and the mischievous child becomes infuriating to friends and parents. Hence, it's probably best to set some boundaries about how far everyone's prepared to go before starting to play a game of opposites.
