Heart Month

The entire month of February is dedicated to cardiovascular health in America. Throughout Heart Month the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention raises awareness about hypertension, heart health, and communities that are disproportionately affected by cardiovascular disease.

It includes National Wear Red Day® when everyone in the US is encouraged to wear red in support of the cause and join in the fight against heart disease. Many other events are run across the country to educate people on how to keep their hearts healthy.

Raise Awareness During American Heart Month

Craft social media resources, fact sheets, posters, flyers, and more to promote a heart-healthy lifestyle and spread heart disease awareness. Support the cause by organizing community walks and athletic events for heart health and advertise them on social media with an eye-catching visual that shows your passion for the cause.

Here's how Design Wizard can help:

Step 1: Browse our Hearth Month templates in all kinds of sizes and formats. Don't worry if you change your mind later. You can resize your design at any time by using the resize tool.

Step 2: Personalize your design with heart pictures and icons from our image library. Add some sparkle by changing colors to different hues of red. Use the text tool to add your tips for a healthy lifestyle or create a poster for that cycling event you're organizing. Anything that promotes cardio goes.

Step 3: Download and print your finished graphic or share it virtually via social media.

How to Take Care of Your Heart

Reduce the risk of heart disease by knowing the factors for heart disease and monitoring your blood pressure regularly. Keep your heart healthy and improve general health conditions. Mental health also plays a key role as research suggests that long-term stress is one of the common risk factors for heart disease.

Maintain a healthy weight through physical activity. Even a 30-minute walk at a brisk pace can make a difference. A balanced diet also helps to protect the heart and improve cholesterol levels. Make good quality sleep a priority in your life and go to regular health screenings to see how you're doing.
