So Many Beautiful Species of Birds

After all, humans tried for centuries to recreate this ability to fly until eventually inventing the airplane. You could say, the birds were our inspiration. On National Bird Day, what will you do to give some attention to birds?

A Serious Cause: The Exotic Bird Problem

National Bird Day is also about raising awareness where birds are concerned. There is a pet trade for example, that harms animals in the name of selling birds for profit. Thousands of parrots are debilitated in this illegal trade. This destructive bird trade needs to be stopped.  There are also cruel bird breeding mills. This is why National Bird Day is gaining in importance—so that we can help these delicate animals and thus prevent the suffering of birds.
